After careful disinfection, sterile covering and local anesthesia the puncture needle of the catheter is inserted through the interlaminar fenestra to the target location.
| |
The correct localization will be checked by the next CT control. There is no need to apply contrast medium because of the contrast medium containing wall of the new developed catheter. After checking the right position the catheter will be inserted and moved to the prolapsed disc.
| |
After the CT check of the catheter the puncture needle will be removed and the catheter will be fixed by a special plaster and sterile covered.
